New Year 2009
Well guys its time for the New Year. I wanted to make an update of a few things nothing major just to have an update really, so you know I haven’t forgotten about anything.
First off we all know the server has not been changed yet, the reason is because Random has not been on due to holiday vacation. He will be back in a few days I’m sure and then we will start the transfer. Everyone including me is ready for a new faster server so please be patient.
Second we will begin some new forum activities at the start of the new year. So during the weekend start checking out the announcements area more often!

Anime Blend Downtime~
Hello guys! Just letting you all know that Anime Blend is taking some down time for a host transfer.
I will not completely shut off the site or the forums but the server will shut off for you all at random times between the next 24-48 hours.
This means that not everyone will be able to access AB at the same time so bare with us! In 48 hours Anime Blend will stop lagging! No more extremely slow pages and server issues!
So Merry Christmas and happy holidays if I dont get to say it myself!
Welcome to the new anime blend!
Hello, first off may I say thank you all for being so supportive of me as a programmer/assist. Admin. It is such an honor to staff here and help program and moderate such a great place, a place I have grown to love myself.
On today, 12/17/08 Anime Blend celebrates it’s first birthday. This is a wonderful day for everyone on the forum. This is a wonderful day for me as well. But this is a very wonderful day for anime blend. So let’s cut the chase.
I now present Anime Blend 2.0! Staff members know this as Project Remix, because I like coolio beta names! That aside, this is more then a mere layout change. This is a project of love that you can, and probably will be a part of.
The first major change is that you can now register and upload your own GFX and drawings to the main site to be viewed via wordpress. I will explain how this works in a moment. But this new change of interface makes site browsing 100% smoother than the old clunky cutenews one. I can guarantee you that I have spent pain staking time making sure everything works up to par. My hope is that you will upload all of your creative pieces there, and really feel a part of the site. I also hope you will comment on everyone’s work as well. This was literally a labor of love for me so please use it!
